“We had a truly lovely stay at Granary Barn as a couple with our dog. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcome! The thoughtful welcome pack was such a lovely touch and set the tone for a relaxing break. The barn itself is beautifully renovated, combining rustic charm with modern comforts. The open-plan living space was light, warm and fully equipped, and the bedrooms were cozy and peaceful. The bathroom, with its rainfall shower, felt luxurious. One of our favourite moments was sitting out on the patio, watching the sheep and lambs grazing in the fields just beyond the patio, it was a truly idyllic countryside scene. Our dog was happy exploring the enclosed garden, and we felt completely at ease. It’s a perfect rural escape and we’d love to return!”

“Thank you Kate and Family for a wonderful weekend stay. You have a beautiful home which worked wonderfully for our multi-generational family group coming together to celebrate a birthday. We loved the gorgeous garden and enjoyed games of boules, croquet and cricket. We loved meeting and learning about the pigs, walking up Cam Peak, watching the gliders, big family meals at your farmhouse table and loads of games in the living room. “If you’re after a peaceful countryside Cotswolds stay, I don’t think you can get much better than Granary barn. Beautiful location, stunning views which were perfect to watch the sun go down with a glass of wine in hand! The sheep, lambs and pigs were lovely, making me feel like we were completely out in the sticks but with the added benefit of Dursley Town being a short walk / drive away for food, restaurants and pubs. The surrounding area is really lovely, great for walks and runs - definitely recommend a walk up Cam Peak and the farmers market in Stroud. Granary barn is so perfect, with its stylish country theme, modern fittings and appliances, super clean, comfortable and it had everything we needed and more. The garden is completely enclosed so we could let the dog wander around and watch the sheep as she pleased! Kate was a fantastic host and made our stay really wonderful and relaxing, thank you so much. We can’t wait to come back!”

“We had an amazing my stay! It was a family get together pre Christmas. There was space for everyone, and Kate had thought of everything, high chairs for the babies, dog bowl/towel/treats, for the dogs, the kitchen had everything we needed to pull off a whole Christmas dinner, there was a fire on the go in the lounge for when we returned from wet muddy walks (the Cotswold Way is very close by) we didn’t want for anything! Kate is a great host, very welcoming and accommodating, I would highly recommend this house for a family get together.”
